Window Tinting - Hobart - Anyone..?

Just wondering if anyone can push me in the right direction to get my gti tinted in hobart at a reasonable price..?
Had a forester done once by someone who will remain nameless and was a pretty poor job, so looking for some advice....

So any hobartians out there with a reccomendation..?

Not sure of there name but the mob that the dealer sent mine two where shocking I had to send it back twice as the bubbles where big and many and there was hair stuck under the drivers side. A rear window had a gap at the bottom you could see as I trident go right down. It's still not right on the rear pass window I know you won't get it perfect every time but you can get close but I can still count at least 15 small bubbles just on that one. Going to get it done again when I can remember to look around. They said they won't do it again as there small but there's so many. I think there magic tint or something like that.

I got mine done at Tint A Car in Hobart. I have had no problems at all and would recommend them they were very friendly and easy to deal with.

Cheers for the replies - was thinking magictintz as its a bit cheaper, but might go to tint a car and try and talk them down a bit - any idea on much yours cost eri_12..?

um well it was 2 yrs ago and it cost $399

Magic tint was $400 for mine through the dealer. Better to go to tint-a-car less chance they will screw it.

Finally got around to getting my tinting done - side windows are done well - back done pretty badly - so will be going back next week - not very happy. Dont get how a place could look over it at the end and think ' yeah, thats a good job' and leave it for the customer.
Numerous bits of dust (i think) under the tint, which look like little white dots, and a few scratches in it.
Not happy.

TAC did it - on further inspection, there is some of those dust bits on all windows, pretty obvious to me. Just wondering how perefect a good job is..? i.e. can you do it with no flaws whatsoever..?
I am considering taking it back asking them to remove it, giving me a refund and taking my business elsewhere.

Thats really unusual because mine was done perfectly. No dust caught underneath/scratches - anything. I suppose that means it can be done without any flaws...

had mine done at magic tintz cost me $250.had one window with very slight air bubbles in which they sorted for me..
this is the fourth car matt has done for me and the polo is the only one with a slight problem..

Ill see what they say, then decide whether to get them to take it off and refund or do it again.
I got the darkest legal, but there is already a slight tint on there - looks good, but guess it is slightly illegal - any thoughts on this..?
