  • Outside Temp Reading

I know it's hot in Perth today - Boxing Day - which makes me wonder how high the temp indicator will go. Being digital, I suppose 99.9c unless it goes to 3 digits for fahrenheit. You'll have to belive me that it touched on 45.5c but by the time I raced inside to get the camera it had cooled down

It was 40.4c @ 4pm Christmas Day, officially 44.2 today - still over 40c at 4pm - and going to be 43c tomorrow. The car a/c struggled a bit on auto to keep it to 23, but worked well with auto off and fan 3 from top speed. Glad I tinted the windows.

Yeah but going to the beach is all it's good for...you can have it. I've got to move house in this heat tomorrow, and somehow I don't think I'm going to enjoy it!

Phew .... rain is on the way, so wots worse, getting your furniture wet or having it melt but it's going to be very humid today ....now 33c

I just saw the weather and there was no mention of rain? Although, I think the furniture will still get wet anyway with all our sweat - it's going to be very humid! I wish it would rain though, it would certainly help out those poor fire fighters that have been trying to put out that blaze since Christmas Eve. Damn arsonists...

i went to the beach yesterday around 7.30 pm and the car was saying it was 33 outside. I left it in front of a restaurant for a couple of hours and when i got back it said 49.5!!! It cooled off to about 43 in a couple of minutes of driving.
At least the new yers eve will be nice

49.5? ....sheesh ....must have been the radiation from the melting bitumen balkanac...... Whispers 34 new year's eve, then 37 new years day followed by 2 days of 40c, so start making the iceblocks now.
