  • Towing a DSG

Researching fuel efficiency and came across a post in TDI club.
The DSG should only be towed with 4 wheels off the ground.

They were commenting on coasting and how the DSG should not be
coasted in N (neutral) as it can cause damage to the DSG.
And when a break down occurs never have it towed.
Did not notice anything in the manual re towing. will have to re check.
    Has anyone heard of this.

Seems strange you cant tow it with front wheels of the ground only.

Could it also be linked to how hard it is to push a DSG car in neutral with the engine off or is that just a matter of not enough weet-bix
