Denlo Parramatta - I went to Barloworld Fivedock originally, but didn't seem to get a good responce on price from the guy there (I think his name was Jean Marc or something). What did you think of them?

I actually had the opposite response....Denlo was more expensive than Barlo World Fivedock. I did have to haggle and basically said I would buy from somewhere else if they did not give me the price I wanted. I was dealing with a guy called Gerry Urbina.......if you ever go to Barloworld Fivedock ask for Gerry and mention the Jetta with the beige leather....he will know who referred you to him. I find everyone else at Fivedock really useless....I did meet Jean and he seems customer focussed but everyone else they can do without from receptionist down.

I might go and chat with them again.

I think one thing I've learnt through reading many of the posts here, is that experiences are personal, and no two will be the same. I've read good and bad things about most dealerships, and it probably depends on who you speak to (and whether they got out of the right side of the bed in the morning!).

But I think what helps most people when things don't go right is to kick and scream and make a fuss (unfortunate but it seems to work).

Spot on.....I totally agree with you....every individual has a unique buying experience.....and yes if you ask you get. the worst that can happen is they say no. but if you don't ask you will never know.

On my way to BarloWorld now and am going to make some more noise.....do you happen to know where these cars come from? is it Mexico?

Not 100% sure of the Jetta's...I think the 5 Door GTI's come from South Africa!
