The orange check exhaust light appeared on the dash of my 06 mkv gti this morning, the car sounded slightly lumpy for a few seconds when I firsted kicked it over but it went away quickly and was idling normal and power delivery seemed fine. The only abnormality I could see was that the average fuel consumption seemed a little high so maybe it's running rich but it's not really accurate as I only drive short distances.
Any ideas? Do I need to be worried? A couple of months ago I had my coil packs looked at under a recall but vw told me they were fine so would not replace them.
