Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    looking for a part EVAP canister 1K0201797AE

    Hi all, i'm after a replacement EVAP canister 1K0201797AE as I have replaced everything else on my car to fix the CEL I keep getting this is the last on the list. I have been quoted $237 inc fitting by VW. I figured it would be easy to replace myself and buy the part online. But having no luck sourcing the part.
    Anyone got one going cheap?
