My brother is looking to join the ranks of VAG owners in nsw

He is chasing a new 3door Silver manual GTI with leather interior as the only option.

How much onroad are they normally? and how much should he be looking to pay.
Dont know too much about the Golf pricing.

Any help would be fab

i drove away for 44.5k with xenons as well. but in candy white.

theyre normally $38.5k plus about $1600 stamp duty and rego plus $3000 dealer deliver plus options.

Just refuse to pay the dealer delivery. instant $3000 discount and then shoot for a further small discount off whatever options u choose

does that 44.5K include leather interior aswell as the Xenons?


metallic is about 500 extra isnt it?

Cant remember the metallic price. It will say it on the price list sheet on their website.

But yeah. I just walked in knowing what i wanted and offered 44k drive away for it and was willing to sign on the spot. The sales guy squirmed a bit and then gave me a counter offer which i walked away from. He rang me the next day and we settled at 44.5k after a couple phone calls.

No point trying to lowball them too much though. or else they wont be interested in your business.

consider that i am paying 45k for a 08 built & complied 5dr leather, blue graphite and dsg.

for a 3dr manual, i'd offer between 41 - 42k.

ps. rrp for metalic is $690.

These days I'd be offering 41-42k for that combo, I paid a couple more, but when I went for mine there were a few supply issues.
