Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • GTI Mud Flaps

Saw a GTI MK5 with mud flaps, they don't look like after market, fits very well and nice on the rear bumer and the around the side skirts, already asked my saleman and they said not available in aussie, anyone knows where I can get them ???

in the aftermarket brochure the dealer gave me (although the parts supplied by them) it had mud flaps listed.

I know there're mud flaps on the accessory list, but they are for those w/o body kit, my sales man already checked with parts and they got nothing on GTI.

Here's a shot of the front and rear taken with my phone.
I think the rear one will fit any golf, but the front one needs to deal with the side skirts.

I got them as an accessory with my new GTI in November. It wasn't a problem getting them at all? I just asked to have them as an accessory?

I've sent you a PM. Definitly look around if you get told you can't get them. They look nice. I can take a photo if you want one.
