  • Neo prolink ipod connection install

I have bought a neo prolink to connect an ipod in my MK5 GOLF TDI GT. Does anyone know how to get into the back of the radio. Supposedly I connect the prolink box to the radio. The car does not have satellite navigation.
If anybody has any tips on doing this install, please let me know.

Yep that DIY is all well and good, I have exactly the same car and same neo prolink. I went through all of this last night only to find that when I pull out the factory white plug and put in the prolink in the back of the radio that my blue tooth no longer works.....

Obviously the bluetooth is integrated into the factory white plug which means moocho ****ing around trying to figure out how it splices in, hence I'm going to a car audio installer net week, shelling out 100 clams and getting them to sort it out!

WATCH THOSE CLIPS UNDER THE AIRCON CONTROLS THEY ARE FLIMSY AS F@CK and easy to snap

Take it to an installer have them break it at least they're insured for that sort of ****

I was also a bit ****ty that with this it doesnt show up with song titles album titles etc as it does with mp3 cd's

        Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if this unit will work in the MY08 GT?

Also did you order it off the net? I have found a few on ebay, but Im unsure which connection the MY 08 Stereo has.

        Cheers,

        Andrew
