R32 47,000km service, what is a reasonable price to pay?

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I have been active on VWWatercooled, so I thought it was time to gain some more knowledge from fellow VW enthusiasts.

My 2007 MY08 R32, which I have loved for 2 years now has hit 46,500kms and it needs a service at 47,000kms. I haven't enquired through various VW dealers yet and asked for a quote.

I have a VW extended warranty on the car and want to keep the car

Cheers mate. I will definitely be keeping an eye on the final bill then. IIRC I paid $430.00 for the 32,000km service which I thought was quite cheap.

Does anyone know what is involved in the 47,000km service?

Engine oil and oil filter, and air filter.

Possibly brake fluid too, if it hasn't been done in the last two years.
