Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    My Baby Finally Arrived!

    Finally after all the wait ITS Finally arrived in my drive way!
    my Red GT Sport TSI DSG, Reverse Sensor, IPOD Adapter

    I drove it a little bit today and love every second of it! DSG felt great and the noise it made was damn nice, i found myself riving with the window down most of the time lol.

    Oh it was worth every minute of the wait!
    I cannot wait until i take it on the freeway!

    Anyway i am overjoyed at the moment...

        Congrats - the red seems to be a popular colour amongst the GT's. I realy want to go for a ride in one of these. It's more of a curiosity just to see how they realy perform.

        Any ways - enough of my ramblings, congrat again!

                      yeah it was a worry for me at the beginning cuz i never saw a red GT Sport before (an i searched hard in google with no luck), and i was contemplating whether to get white or red. But went the red cuz i just thought Red GTI looks the best with the black grill.
                      So the first time i saw a red GT Sport is yesterday at the dealership when i was picking it up, and i don't regret it for one second.

                            My train ride to Mascot from newcastle was agony.

                            The thing that sucked even more was having my father sitting next to me on the way home in the new GTI, kept telling me to slow down !!!!!! GRRR

                            I just wanted to give it some and crank up a CD.
