  • Lowering springs for MK V

Hey Guys, just wondering if someone could advise on where (either locally or from OS) I could get some springs at a reasonable price. I've got a GT Sport TDI arriving very soon, and would like to drop it as soon as possible (I hate standard ride heights).

Ideally, I'd prefer Eibach prokit coils, but I'll consider others as long they aren't going to make the car sit ridiculously low. Any help appreciated, cheers.

I'd definately try the H&R springs from TCCA Motorsport.
The've made a massive difference to my GTI in not only looks but comfort. I got the 30mm drop on mine.

I'm pretty sure the come in varying levels of drop and have different spring rates depending on whether its DSG or Manual.
Of course it's not going to work if you use rusty bullets!

Thanks for that guys. I will indeed look into H&R Springs, as I've heard they are on par with Eibach, and a 30mm drop is exactly what I'm looking for. I have also been made aware of Neuspeed springs, and it sounds like they might be worth a look too. I'll have to see what the price difference is.

I'm picking up the new ride on Friday!
