Haven't driven the petrol versions but the diesels are just sensational. Handling, drivability, performance are just incredible. Can't say I was "Blinded by the Light"! Not wishing to be a Ludite however, it's a good point that you could spend a whole lot less modifying a Mk1 and have one hell of a car! I'd start with the brakes........Comment
