Maybe the person took the 'TSI' badging off the new Golf GT Sport as they have the 'TSI' on the back of them and stuck it on the back of the Jetta.

Otherwise, there are reports of VW realeasing a twincharged 1.6 as well as a 2.0 litre engine sometime in 08/09 period. Although you wouldn't expect such a 'complete' and well integrated model now.. undisguised.. and blatantly advertising it's TSI technology... if they really wanted to blend in, just take the badging off and pass as a 2.0 FSI... none would be the wiser.

Who knows, a 2.0 TSI does sound quite interesting though.

Apparently the TSI badge was previously used to denote the turbo and supercharged 1.4 petrol engine. Now TSI respresents all non naturally aspirated petrol engines, replacing the previous TFSI label.

So it looks like now the 1.4 TSI will be the turbo-supercharged engine and the 2.0 TSI is used to represent the 2.0TFSI who's old badge has been done away with.

Could this get confusing? What other Petrol-Turbo Variants are there.

i'm thinking they've just put the wrong badges on at the factory, nothing more

                    that can't possibly have a 2.0 twincharger
