Hey guys
Well it had been on my mind for a long time but i finally did it!!! the big turbo upgrade for my gti is finally here and up and running. It all started when i first purchased hongs rebuilt engine, which most of you know already had stronger internals, ( a must for big turbos) this included larger pistons, rods etc. It was running great the two years he had it, and at the price i got i couldn't resist, I also managed to get his old downpipe, which was a custom made eurospeed 3 inch.
Next was the turbo choice, though the engine did come with a gt2871 i opted to get a slightly different turbo, and was advised by lucas from eurospeed to get the bcs automotive td06 kit, which included hpfp, rs4 injectors, fmic, and intake, With that i also purchased a peloquin LSD.
It took a few months before everything arrived and before i was ready to undergo the engine swap, but about 2 weeks ago i was finally ready to get it in.

Well i got it back two days ago and all i can say is WOW!!! the power it delivers is incredible and very smooth, all it wants to do is go and go), but even with that its still very easy to drive on a daily basis, which is very important for me. I currently have it running on the low boost setting as i still need to get a few more parts before i can attempt high boost so stay tuned for that.
I want to thank lucas for making this possible, he was very informative about everything and whenever i needed to ask any questions he would reply promptly , he's also an easy guy to talk to. so guys if you need someone to do anything mechanical to your dubs, i highly recommend him. Also want to thank Tim from dub addiction for letting me store the engine at his workshop, thanks mate.
