Am picking up my new Jetta tomorrow, after ordering in July.

Have found this forum fabulous for helping me plan for my new purchase, (my last new car was a Camry bought in '95). So thank you all.

Amongst other things I have a reference site for the best way to run in the car, I know that paint sealer is a waste of money, I know that the ipod adapter works well but is not user friendly, and I will not worry too much about the odd initial squeek or rattle.

But does anybody know where I can get good quality window tint in Melbourne?

Did the dealer not offer you a tint before delivery? They make a big deal about how it affects the Canbus etc, so be careful. Other folks may have some better ideas regarding aftermarket tints, though.

I would have thought your dealer could/should have offered tinting. My dealer arranged for the tinting to be done and I'm very happy with the result. Not sure of the cost as my Jetta is a novated lease and I only saw the all up price.
