New to the mkv gti crew ...
Hi guys and gals , i have just purchased a used 2007 gti dsg in candy white.
I just wanted to introduce my self my names Nik and im 28 from sydney, so if you see a white mkv gti it may be me.
This is my first GTI and am so happy i got this car, originally i was a ford fan boy and as i matured i started to appreciate all makes and models , since my budget was around 20-22k i decided to look into the mighty gti, i took a few for a test drive and settled on this car. It has a fair few ks at 82,000 but it has a full service history with a dsg oil change at 60 and no major warranty claims apart from the usual plastic fantastic going bust.
Tonight i went to get acquainted with my new gti, i was driving it in D mode for a good half hour then i said how about this S mode, hmmmm so i dropped it into S and the car went mental omgggggggg i love german cars i love VW .......!!!!! how on earth could such a perfect car exist , it handles like its on rails and is so rev happy, i love the way it holds the lower gears and lets you power through corners, i love the little fart it makes and i loveeeeee the way it holds me tight in those amazing seats.
I look forward to chatting to all of you and hopefully going on a few club meets. I just can not get this smile of my face.
