MK5 Exhaust

Need help with exhaust for my MK5 TDI

i was looking at a magnaflow gti exhaust wondering if i could fit it to my TDI? (hang points ect.)

or would i be better off just getting one down at a shop or something...
i mainly want it for the twin tips... but wouldnt mind a better note aswell being TDI..

I'm not 100% sure if the GTI exhaust would bolt on but have you considered having one of the resonators removed? You could have the rear resonator removed which would give it a different exhaust not and changing the tips at the same time.

Any exhaust shop should do it, it's a cost effective way of getting a new look/sound for your car. Oh, and don't forget you'll need to either get a new bumper or cut some exhaust holes if you actually want to "show" your tips

I concur with this.
Muffler delete cost approx $400 and i couldn't be happier.
Also, weight reduction!

Thanks guys yeah im concidering it... or even one of the guys from here showed me his for sale... the rear muffler is like a 3rd of the size and it has nice tips on it allready and yeh im getting a GTI Valance.

just if your interested. I recently upgraded my Exhaust to a Milltech. If your interested I have a
low millage Exhaust for a Mk5 VW Golf GT Sport TDI. All in exelent condition and about 80000Km's.
This is a factory GT Exhaust, they have twin tips (think S/Steel construction?)and should all bolt up.
With the exeption of the rear valance, which needs clearance for the outlets.

If interested drop me a line, I'm in the Berwick area. I can also let you see what a hot Mk5 diesel
feels and sounds like.
