Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    eBay starter motors

    Anyone have any idea on whether its worth buying a new starter motor off eBay? Or should I get a second hand OEM (Bosch) one?

    OEM part number is 02E 911 023 L, for a Golf Mk5 TDI 103kW (a friends car).
