Hi everybody, i'm new to this forum and also new to a golf. Hopefully i will be picking up my new GT sport tdi next week from Liverpool, upgrading from a '93 five litre commodore to the golf, should notice a big difference in fuel costs.
Can't wait to get the golf, I have test driven one last week and was impressed with the performance. I hav'nt had a VW since my 1972 superbug which I had for a number of years.
This will make two German vehicles in the garage the other being a bmw motorcycle, any way its great to find a forum just dedicated to these car.
I'll let you know when I get it Regards Kerry Stewart

Welcome aboard Kerry - I'm sure you love the disel GT. They are my pick of the Mk5. I'd love one! Let us know how you go with it.

          Hi Andrew
Just a quick question, we are thinking off bringing the new car down your way next May, is this a good time to come to Tassie.
