Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Golf GT Sport

    I have just joined, i am proud to say I just ordered a Red Golf GT Sport TSI with DSG, reverse parking sensors and ipod adapter. I test drove it and and straight after i knew it was the car i longed for...
    It will arrive on my birthday 20th November... the countdown begins... i am so excited!
    anyway i will update it with some pics as soon as i get it!

                Update: unfortunately i didn't get my car on the 20th since its the 21st now... the past few weeks has been the longest in my life!
                The Dealership told me on the 20th they still trying to contact the warehouse, so was bit worried, and get back to me asap. however didn't recieve a phone call that day.
                But yeah today called them during lunch break, had a few serious words to the sales manager (basically tell them they missed the delivery date and how disappointed i was as my family and friends who all eager to see me driving my new Golf to my birthday dinner instead driving my almost dead 1990 Magna...) and Bang!! 15 minutes later i recieved the call salesman told me my car will arrive from warehouse by friday and "should" be ready for me to pickup on Monday! So i guess i gotta cross my fingers and hope the wait will be over soon!
