R32 running very very rich

Hi, I have a friend who has a 4 door R32 that is running very rich to the point where at idle for a few minutes & a quick rev has thick clouds of smoke. The car is really fluttery at idle & very hesitant to rev under 2,500 rpm. The O2 sensors has been replaced by VW but the engine light has come on & I suspect it has gone again.

Does anyone know what maybe causing this or had similar problems occur?

It needs looking at with VCDS as a starting point. No point speculating what's up.
