Last minute hesitation about an already ordered car!

so i ordered a gt sport tdi a month and a half ago... completely base model manual with no extras but i ordered it in silver because my comfortline that i have atm is silver, and i didnt actually give colour much of a thought.

buuuuuut to be honest after seeing some damn hot white dubs around the place and on the net i'm thinking... what about a white one?

so what do you guys think, should i keep my order as a silver gt sport, or should i wander down to the dealer and see if i can get the colour changed to white? (its only these 2 choices sorry...)

I've got Candy White ... so I suppose I'm biased ... haven't regretted it though.

i think u should get silver. I think less white dubs on the road is a good thing. makes mine less common

haha ahh some vested interests here ay.

forgot to say, the white would naturally be colour-coded. its thanks to cars like this (also a gt by the looks of it) that are giving me these second thoughts...

I'm in much the same situation but don't want to place an order for a few weeks so I get an 08 build.

I like silver but every second Golf I see is that colour. United grey is classy but hard to see on the road.

So I guess it will have to be white - at least it will match the B&W plates my wife gave me for a birthday

Why is it that the colours I really like (deep red and ivory) are on Jettas and Beetles?

VW does do a nice solid white, not like the half-baked whites you do see on other cars.

I like silver more than white.
Silver looks more tough and unlike the white, it doesn't look as dirty when it is dirty. Silver is more prestigious than white and it shows up shine better than white, is easier to match colour if you need touch up paint. Silver should have better resale value. Dark gray metalic is nice to but less safe it colour matches the road.
Get silver.
