Does anyone know how to reset mk5 golf's reverse sensors?
If memory serves me correct, I think they may well be factory-fitted. In which case, you may need to visit your nearest dealership and have them take a look at it.
If they are genuine but fitted at PD they can be reset by locating the control module then follow the wiring it will lead to a blue wire which needs to be bridged. Once bridged reverse the car against a solid wall until you hear a beep then turn off car and disconnect the blue wire and insulate it, if the beep is constant it will need to be redone. It can be a real head ache
to reset. If you can't do it may need to visit dealer. Do you have the fitting instructions???
