Well after very little thought and a bit of impulse buying I bought a 2005 Golf comfortline tdi dsg. I rang one of the more reputable dealers in town and they actually drove out and picked me up to come and have a look at their stock.
He brought the golf to my place and let me drive it back to the dealers....two words....LOVED IT....what an awesome little car. I was very surprised how much poke the engine has, I had to ask if it was the 2.0 and he said its the 1.9, I was like 'whhaaat?'. Its got pretty low km (74000) and the price was sort of within what I wanted to spend, can't wait until tuesday when I go back to pick it up.
Anyway I'm off to the 'new to diesel' part of the forum....
