  • Stock Pacific rims' wheel locking spline nut - parts?

    hi dubbers

for the MY08 TDI Pacific, i have somehow managed to lose the locking spline nut from the rear tool tray to take the standard wheels off. i am due for a wheel rotation and can't figure out how to find one.

Are they easily available at the stealers? is there a part number? is there a known price?

    any other tips etc?

Go to a dealer, and they'll match it up with one in their master set, and order one for you.

Yes, but you'll need to take your car there and see if what they have fits.
There's a reason that they're not easy to match up so some thieving b*stard can't just look at your locknut, write down the number then order it from eBay.
There should be a single digit stamped on the locking bolt (on the end of the threaded section) and the corresponding number on the lock key. They're about $35 from the dealer from memory.

It also comes with a bolt. I bought one a couple of years ago so I wouldn't have to keep taking it out of the hatch each time I wanted to take a wheel off.

Did you look in your glovebox & the other cubby holes?
