MY08 Manufacture Date?

Hi, sorry if this is a really stupid question, I suspect the answer is yes. I've got a Golf GTI on order, and have been informed it was built last week. Does this mean it is a MY08? Apparently it will be ready for me mid - late November

Also has anyone tried running the ipod adapter on the MY08's? Just wondering if they have resolved the issues people were having with the ipod adapter, regarding navigation, song names etc..

There is no such thing as a stupid question here I would suspect it is a MY08, cant help you with the iPod thing, just wish i had one!! IM sure one of the other dudes can answer your question.

I've just read with past posts that the ipod can only be used with play lists, and doesn't have track names.. hard to use etc. This was on the MY07 models, so I didn't know if the MP3 CD capability on the MY08 has also enhanced the ability of the ipod adapter?

I've had my Astra or opelaus (hehe) since 2003. It has been a great car actually, but I wanted something more sporty. After all the research I fell for the Golf GTI, and have wanted it for a few years now.

MY changes start from August production (definitely), and possibly even sometime in July. Our 3dr was built on 30 August 2006 and is an MY07.
