  • Passenger Airbag lock/unlock

Just wondering if anyone else has the lock/unlock feature in their glovebox for the passenger side airbag??

Every country in the world (apart from Aus) allows you to put a baby capsule in the front and because of that, they have the key hole in the glovebox.

As it was my mate who I bought my car off, they rushed it through for me (after 5 months of waiting) and in the process, failed to remove the lock from the glovebox.

Just wondering if anyone else has it?

My MY08 has a blank plate fitted where the key switch normally is. I used the blank plate for a switch mod I needed. By coincidence when i mentioned this to my dealer other day he told me that on a small number of cars they ran out of the switch blanking plate and shipped the car with a non functioning key switch in place.

If you have the key switch fitted i would strongly suggest you confirm this... The risk is you may think you have disabled the bag when you actually havent.
