  • Heater on max temp still only warm

    Hello,
After the few recent days of rain and the temps being lower, I've been using my heater for the first time. I've noticed that no matter what temp i select it is only warm and even on 29.5 degrees, it still is barely warm. I've looked on the net for an answer and i know that the car isn't overheating at all so it isn't the water pump. Has anyone else got any ideas or hints as to what to do?

    cheers

Hard to know but assuming you have manual heat adjustment, I would suspect that the cable that is pulled/pushed when you turn the heating control has come loose from either the heating unit or the button itself, meaning it's just slipping and thus although you are turning to max heat, it's no longer calibrated correctly. Does that make sense.

Easy to fix in terms of what to do, but hard because it depends which end the problem is. If indeed this is the issue...
