  • MKV Golf window switches.

    Hi All,

    Just wondering if anyone has changed their MKV Golf Driver side window switches?

    Is it a hard job to do?

    I am looking at replacing my ones in my R32 as they are worn and flaking which is a common problem on all MKV's I was told.

    Where can I buy them from except VW spare parts?

          No wonder everyone gets pissed at you. Lighten up. I'm pretty sure his coment isn't going to affect anyone answering your question (which had already been answered). In fact YOUR comment probably detered people more.

                My switch corroded thanks to an incompetent detailing shop (yes yes, should have done it myself, which I do now!) - thought I'd try a cheap copy from eBay, and picked up a unit for $25 delivered from some mob (Autobiz111 I think). A visual comparison of the switches and the internal contacts showed no diference, but I'm sure there must be. Anyway, almost 2 years down the track and they are still looking and working as good as new.

                  I'm up for a set of these switches too, a mate bought a set off ebay (with the brushed silver trim), they're perfect and good value.

                      Please understand mate this is a community not a private wanted to buy listing.

                      Keep that in mind and you will end up with more help.

                      My tip is you look up the part number.

                        Have you looked here:

                        Bold-Sport.com :: Switches & Electronics

                        I like this site, seems to be fairly reasonable
