Just thought I'd let you guys know, I got some original (Champion...as in spark plugs) wiper blades from a mob in England.
Cost me AU$36 in total for a PAIR !!!
VW Dealers !! RIPOFF ARTISTS !!
Thanks for the tip. Btw, I have the stock wiper blades fitted and they wipe very clean however when changing direction after full wipe they make a noise sort of like you hear when you would lightly knock the windscreen. My work car Holden Commodore Omega wipers are quiet as a mouse even when changing direction. Is this noise just a VW thing as I have read about other people with late model Veedubs experiencing the same. I am willing to try the no name wiper blades from this company just to try if it would make any difference.

They cost in total inc shipping about £23. About $36 landed for a pair. Just be careful when ordering bc the jetta blades on the site have a different fitting u need to order the golf ones instead. Iatched up the pics to the blade when I ordered.
Never even considered this! I just paid $70 less 20% ($54AU) from Autobahn for Trident ones. I guess in years to come, I'll be looking back to this thread! (sooner if they don't last as long as OEM). Thanks OP and contributors.
I bought the A980S twin pack for my `09 R36 sedan. I think the AM part numbers are individual parts. A980S are packaged together in a box (cheaper too) Look up the Bosch wiper guide for your exact vehicle from the Bosch website. I found the A980S part number for my vehicle from there.
Hope that helps.
Fyi - I got mine from wiperblades.co.uk for AU30+ shipped. Oem Bosch for passat. About 2wks i think.
Ordered a set of front wipers (their brand) just to try and I have to say that they work a treat in my case. Nice clean and quiet wipe with the recent downpoars in Sydney. Cost me just about over 30 Aussie dollars delivered home. : )...Thanks for posting the info.

$36 is cheap, what are you whinging about? considering the difference between good wipers and cheap wipers could be the difference between living or not.
My local vw dealer quoted me $40 per wiper blade, my rear wiper was $25.
