I know this type of question has sort of been asked before especially in relation to Skoda wagons, but I have recently had a new (old stock) non rsc APR stealth catback fitted to my 06 Jetta TSI. I love the look, the sound from outside and I can now hear the transmission going changing up and down. All cool!
What is less cool is that it is quite boomy round 50-60kmh and at a steady 120kmh. Is there anything I can do to cut down on the boom without going back to a stock exhaust or an rsc catback? Would putting extra sound deadening in the boot be a good option or,(unlike the skoda) has the Jetta already got enough sound deadening in it?
Would a resonater help or is that already part of the apr package? Sorry to sound dumb.
