  • Wheel offset

I've seen a few ppl offer suggestions on wheels etc. Just wondering if you could post pics of your car with any after market wheels stating the name of the wheel, size and offset.

I'm looking at getting the OZ Ultraleggras in Matt black for a united grey 5 dr R32. If anyone has had any experience with this specific wheel let me know.

    Thanks

It was a long read and finally got to the end of it. The wheels look very mean, but I'm just weighing up the stress it cost Blur to get it all done. Hoping to get my car fitted with the ultraleggaras prior to taking delivery so that I can at least not have to worry about all this and let the dealer do all the running around.

Still, I had a quote from the mag wheel centre in Richmond (Vic) to see how much they were and $1,034 was for each! But might be able to see if VW will take care of getting the wheels fitted properly with all the hub rings etc. Hopefully this guy will be able to do it.

Otherwise I may just stay stock.

Blur had hair when he started the wheel ordeal.

i think it may be easier for you as the info on that thread in amazing.

blur had a lot of down time and to and fro with the states.

        lessons learnt...

Pharkus, PM me, I have a source for the Ultras in Australia for ~$2.2K (I'm not selling them, a mate of mine runs a tyre/wheel business, and he's getting my Ultraleggerras in Titanium Crystal for that money (18")).

Thanks for all the replies. I have learnt from Blur and want to keep my hair

I can possibly negotiate the whole wheel package with my car as a requirement. The aim is to pick up fully "finished" car with no hassles, whilst still getting the best price. That guy in Richmond quoting over $4k for all the wheels is just not even in the ball park.

On another note, does anyone know the sort of prices they were getting for reselling their OEM wheels back to VW?
