Did you have to switch the fog light lens over?

Yes you will have to swap the fog lens.

There is a seller on ebay who sells them pre modified.

The fog lens on the standard OE lights is held by screws and can be swapped or removed completely simply. I didn't bother as I have both left and right wired as reversers. Also the fog lens on the OE LEDs is a bit harder to swap, it is held by dobs of plastic weld.

The ebay lights are not OE as you can see by the indicators which are not LED. I founf the cheapest price and cheapest freight is TM Tuning.

edit: wait just looked on there, they are over $500 :S

You don't have to swap if you choose to do this .....

Thing is, when you select reverse, both lights will turn on and when you turn on the rear fog, both lights will turn on. Not a problem in Qld as we don't need rear fogs. For you in Vic if you use your rear fogs often, then you would need to do the lens swap thing.

Hmm i don't really want to have a useless fog option on my switch haha, is there anyway to just switch the wires so that the left is fog and right is reverse?

Good question, I don't see why not. The reason I did the twin reverse is because the one reverse light is siht and my driveway is pretty dark.

Im pretty noob when it comes to cables, so i would have no idea how haha.
Hmm, yeh i havnt had any problem with just one reverse light, and i think im OCD when it comes to having a switch that works but i cant use haha.!

The hardest part is removing the tailgate panel. I’m no auto elec but this is how I would do it….

                            1. Cut the power wire to the fog and the reverser leaving enough wire at the bulb ends to join new wires.

                            2. Connect a new wire from the fog bulb end to the power wire that originally went to the reverser.

3 .Repeat for the other side.

I would solder the joints and protect with heat shrink and test before refitting the tailgate panel.

Be aware that your reversing light will now be on the driver’s side when you fit LEDs as the TM Tuning lights are for LHD.

                              Hey Vic,

If you do go for the LED rears, don't worry too much about changing the reverse and fog lights, I can do that. If you want the LEDs put into the inners, I can look after that at the same time. Check this thread for installation instructions
