After about 20 mins driving in traffic yesterday I noticed while waiting at the lights that the engine was revving itself from 800 rpm to 2000 rpm and the car was shaking and vibrating more than normal at idle. More worrying was that this 'self revving' also occured while the car was moving and in gear, hence the car actually accelerated by itself. Anyway, took it back to the dealer as car is still under the 3 month warranty. He instantly said he knew it was the PCV and replaced it in 30 mins on the spot.
