  • MY08 American Jetta 1 inch lower

Searching an American vw site last night and they
mention the MY08 jetta is 1 inch lower, and looks better.
(They did not mention if this was the case with there rabbit).

Sent an email to VW AUS to see if this is the case
for the Australian version and got the "don't know anything".

So Question is, does anyone have the MY08 Jetta of Golf yet
and if so is ours 1 inch lower.

the US spec models are quite often 1 inch higher to start off with arent they? They have a thing for cars with 3km of suspension travel and flaccid handling

I was reading on the jettamkv forum a little while ago which is based in america, that even the jetta gli (our turbo fsi) isn't lowered at all and most of them order the european suspension which is what we have standard on the jetta's here.

I think the US Spec GTI is 15mm higher, not sure if applies to other models. They do have a thing for the higher ride height, im sure the coilover companies love it
