Help - Tips on removing parker bulb MKV Passengers Side

hi all

I've mentioned this in another post.. but its really starting to annoy me..

Can anyone give me some tips how to get the passengers parker bulb out without cutting their hands on the surrounding airbox etc.

I can't figure out how to remove the airbox, but seems a bit excessive just to access that little bulb.

The drivers side was easy but with my medium/large hands, theres no way I can work in that tiny space to get the bulb.
Also tried putting pliers down there but the gap is also too small to put anything down there with ease

Tips anyone?

Yep, I had to get my daughter to replace the bulb. It's a pain in the A...

I used a pair of Longnose pliers to get the old one out and put the new one in.

Thanks for that.. i finally got it.. tweezers and pliers just didnt work for me, my ones are too long and the gap is too short and its angled..

The way I did it was put BOTH my hands in the gap but rather than pinch it with 2 fingers on the same hand, i use middle finger of EACH hand and tried to grab it that way.. it worked but i got alot of cuts in the process. ouch..

removing the air box is quite easy 5 minutes tops.

1: unclip the top part of the intake diffuser - that bit between the airbox and front of car.
2: undo the hex screw at the back of the airbox next to the intake pipe.
3: unclip the intake from the MAF.
4: now you have to pull the airbox up as it is held by 2 rubber grommets and posts at the base of the airbox. slowly lift up and they just pop apart.
5: lift the Airbox up enough to get some room... you probably do not have to take it all out - a bit fidly trying to get it twisted out.

you don't have to pull the airbox apart to get it out - well I did not have to in my 125TDI
