225/45 R17 or 235/45 R17 on Denvers? Recommendations please.

What would you guys recommend?

235's have been fine when I ran them on a set of denvers. speedo is a little more close to true speed, and your overall KM's drops by about 1.5%.

Any tire calculator will give you the % difference in sizes.

If your on a budget, check option1garage and get a set of Kumho KU31's for about 150 a corner. they handle pretty well and wear is good.

I just put Ku31 kumho's on my partners honda, 215/45/17's they were only $120 a corner, a lot of tire places price match so i just printed off a special on ebay and they matched it. Your getting a mid range tire at a low range price.

So far they have been a pretty good tire in all conditions.

I had the 17" wheels on our Jetta TDI. It was lowered on GTI suspension
when we replaced the tyres we went from 225/45 to 235/45 Michelin PS3 (they should be on special right now at JAX Quickfit), and saved myself $280 overall to end up with more contact with the road
Tyre pricing is stupid!

I bought 225/45's from Jax in the end, turned out well and the car looks amazing, love the new look.
