If it is the external temp sensor, isn't that going to cost $$$ even if you fix it yourself? I hit a wombat once with my old black Sigma - Sigma 1 Wombat 0. Damn problem with these animals is that they don't like to move out of the way - they like to watch as the drama unfolds...
