  • F1 Eagle Assymetric 2's or Michelin Pilot Super Sport

I have a choice here either F1a2's from Peformance alloy.com for $1,130 or Michelin PSS from tirerack for $1,085.

    Any thoughts?

I would go the Eagle F1's unless you are going to upgrade the Michelins to Pilot Sport 3's.

either way, see if you can get the value below the dreaded A$1k threshold. Even consider buying 3 ex Us and 1 local if you cant get the exported value below that $1k

It's a personal thing when it comes to a lot of the premium tyres, as other people have said, generally if you want better x then you tend to lose a bit of y....it's just less noticeable in higher end tyres.

Either are a good tyre, the PS3 is also a good tyre. I have the F1A2's and really happy with them in all conditions...I almost went for the PSS but was worried about the life of the tyre and some wet weather grip (even though its supposed to be amazing)

I guess no matter what some people say, others will disagree....check out some of the other threads:
