Damaged Side Mirror

I AM SO ANGRY!! some idiot broke my mirror.....!!!!!

Well it wasn't too bad as the mirror wasn't cracked however the plastics were cracked on the LED turn indicators....

I live in Perth...does anybody know where i can get it fixed?

I know the feeling mate...I had my passenger mirror, along with the door and front corner panel smashed on New Years day by some ******** that didn't check his blindspot and changed lanes into me

Then about a month ago I managed to clip the same mirror reversing out of my driveway

I have about the same damage as you, I only need the outer covering replaced...the mirror and mechanisms work fine.
Most people couldn't tell its damaged, but I can...
Anyway, I would love to know whether you can just replace the outer shell easily, or whether you have to buy the whole lot...plus what It would cost to get it done.
So, anybody that can help....

You can buy the parts from dealer I had mine one changed by my mechanics and cost me $50 for the led part and $40 Labour. As you can't just but the clear plastic but the whole part with the led light.
Hope it help. It is a cheap fix. I know is angry but only $100 so is alright I guess

Hey Guys...

The mirror is not damaged...the actually cover snapped off however i mange to snap it back into place....so that main damage is the LED clear cover

You can't just buy the cover, you have to buy the cover with the led light as the plastic cover and the led light are in one piece.

A good opportunity to upgrade to the smoked mirror signals? Stay away from the dealer unless if you want to get raped! I purchased a set of smoked signals for around $50 from TMT on special, you would probably be able to change them yourself.

sigh......i'm not very handyman guy so i might have to go dealers anyone in the perth area know where i can get it fixed?

I'd be happy to give you a hand if you were in Brisbane... Or if I was in Perth.

But seeing as we are neither of those two, perhaps a panel beater would be able to swap it over for you.

big sigh!!!!!!!!!!!! went to the dealers and it will cost $485 to replace i swear this will cost almost nothing in asia.....big sigh.......

For gods sake, buy the parts listed above and pay someone $50 to fit it..

relax bazzle....i'm buy it and taking a crack at it myself....i mean it's already broken so i might as well try DIY if i stuff up major time then get someone to fix it or pay the $485 at least i know i tried

You wont stuff up, it's quite simple. Just print out a DIY from golfmkv.com and follow it. That's what I did
