tyre pressure for GTI 17"

Hi Guys,

I went to pump up the tires on the GTI last night and was abit confused with the sticker in the fuel cap.

I ended up putting in 260 across all 4....is this ok. THe ride feels HARD, what is the correct pressure?

You've already answered your question... the sticker is very self explanatory - set a lower pressure for one or two passengers, set it to the higher level as the sticker indicates for larger loads. If you want even "tyre" wear, keep them set at the pressure the sticker tells you.

i have my one set at 36psi......is that good

Just so people dont get confused:

1 PSI = 6.8948 KpA.

The fuel cap says tyre pressure in KpA and BAR. So 260 KpA = 38 PSI.
