  • Oil Level dip stick hard to read

I find the level marks on the Jetta TDi dip stick impossible to read. Why?... the tip of the dip stick is black and the oil in a TDi is...err...black so to tell if the oil levels are correct needs some guess work. Is there an after market dip stick that has clear ends?

As brad said make sure that the dipstick is 100% dry and in a good light you'll be able to read the oil level. If you want more hints I know for sure that there is already at least one thread on the same topic. So, I closed this one.
