Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Shouldn't that be "coming up for its 60000km service".

          Manual, or DSG?

This will vary the price of the service greatly, as the DSG oil is quite pricey at around $50/L, and you need 5 of them!

Hi Papon, Can you tell me if that quote was from the 'Nowra' VW dealer or an independent? That must include the DSG service at that price of $1300!

                  Hey Guys,
can anyone recommend someone on the North Syd around Epping or Carlingford for a 50,000 km service.
I have used Stephen Natoli who use to advertise on here but I believe he;s gone O/S.
I've got an Automatic 2005 2.0 FSI Golf.
                  cheers

Maybe you could use the excellent "search facility" this Forum provides, if you did you would have found this Thread:

How did you get on? Did you end up using the 'Nowra' Ford/VW Dealer or someone else local?
