Am I the only one who thinks that colour coding works well on the red and the white but not so good on the black and the silver? Just me?
I've got the black and I'm definitely happy with the non colour coded bumper, but the red and white colour coded ones look hot! I saw a silver one with colour coded bumpers the other day and it was a bit average...
I really want to do the colorcoding on my silver GTI, the black rear bumper doesn't match with silver. Does anyone here knows how much I will be looking at to colorcode the front, side skirt and rear bumper? Thanks a lot...
I paid a 1k at BCM body shop along ipswich road to get mine painted.
In that price they remove the bumps you can feel in the black parts off the body kit..
I have been told that the painted plastic won't come up as shiny as the rest of the paintwork - BrisGTI & gtimk5 how is the finish on your cars. Factory, or not quite?

Thanks Andrew. Seeing pics of your car, looks like colour coding is probably back on the agenda for me.
Love the roads around tassie.
Took a trip down there last year for a run at Baskerville. Back roads from Tamar valley back to Launceston were awesome. Shame I was driving a Falcon wagon loaded with a ton of gear and a trailer on the back.
GTI roads for sure.

Baskerville eh? I would love $1 for every lap I have done around there. Mainly in my Mk1 though. Used to do a bit of circuit racing here but the polotics! Sealed road rallies were my forte and I had a fair amount of success in them.
I would love to be able to fit a cag in the Mk5 and do an event! After the Konis of course.
Cheers!
