  • Radiator Fans for air con

    Hi guys,

Just had my faulty air conditioning diagnosed by the dealership being due to a faulty electric radiator/condensor fan. Seeing that the car is out of warranty, I though I would by the parts my self and save my self 80% of the price the dealer quoted. Just wondering does anyone have any adivce or a diy to replacing the fans? So far i believe you just remove the lower cover, remove the cable and unscrew the 4 torx screws on each corner and slide the fans out. Is there anything else to it?

    Thanks

    It's that easy. Enjoy.

Make sure the car is high enough in the air to get the fans out.

You are quite correct there but on some engines you may need to remove the intake pipe to allow enough room to remove the fans and shroud. Very easy job and like stated before get the can up high so you have plenty of room to pull it out from underneath
