  • Factory tyres on MK V R32?

    Hi all,

Ive been searching high and low in this site and R32OC to find out which tyres were delivered with the 2007 MkV R32?

Ive seen people say Dunlop Sport Maxx and Continental contisport contact 2? Maybe different for different years? I bought my car second hand and it has bridgestone Potenza RE050A...which are worn out with 25k kms....so Im wondering if these are its second set, or if it was delivered with these!!??

    Thanks!

It seems like the tyres on most Golfs varies, it just depends on when the car was built. I doubt those Bridgestones would have been original though, would be a second set for sure.

Dunlop Sport Maxx were fitted to the R32 pretty much across the board, CSC2's were mainly fitted to the GTIs.

The Sport Maxx are not that good, you're better off with the CSC3's or Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetricals.
