  • IC and plumbing upgrade

    Hi Guys,

This may have been discussed in an earlier thread so my apologies now.

I have MK5 GTI APR Stage 2+ with the only thing left to do is the IC, as I want to avoid heat soaking especially in summer. So far I have gone to APR for all my upgrades and have been more than pleased, but I thought with the IC I would do a little more research since the cost of an APR IC is approx $2K. I have been reviewing a few websites and Neuspeed offer some plumbing upgrades, Neuspeed Hi-Flo Turbo Discharge pipe and the Neuspeed Hi-Flo Intercooler Pipe Conversion, I have tried to get some assistance from a guy in the US about which pipe would suit my 2009 GTI and he was less then helpful (since they don't ship to AUS), so has anyone installed these here and if so there any major benefit to upgrading these?
In regards to an IC, the BSH IC with the garret core has caught my eye, but any point of views or advice would be appreciated?

    Cheers,

Well IM in the same boat as u except I have gone all giac. Apparently a good upgrade for our car is the S3 intercooler which u can buy an oem kit fairly cheap I think last time I looked I found it for around $495us.all the graphs show its more efficent then our core and its a straight fit as well.
Good bye GTI Hello Golf R
