New Jetta TDi

Hi all,
I just wanted to say hi and tell you about my new TDi Jetta. It's my preferred color ....Spice Red and it came with cream leather & bi xenon light. The leather and lights weren't on my list, but I would have had to wait 12 weeks for a red one to be made and shipped. I've already put a 2.0 TDi badge on it and intend to add window tinting. 2 days after I took delivery hubby drove it down south and returned 5.6l/100klm ....I'm impressed. No squeeks, rattles or problems at all. The dealer is going to program the auto locking doors, but apart from that I'm after feedback on the best way to treat the leather. I also wouldn't mind doing something to keep those shopping trolleys and "other" car doors off the paintwork ...... and ideas on adding protective strips? Thanks, I'll be back.

sounds like a nice ride... get them to program the auto dip left mirror when you put it in reverse, but dont let them charge you for it! welcome to the community
