Do cars on the fast (right most) lane driving slower than you are, give way to you when you come up behind them?

I notice that they usually do when I am driving my GTI but they just ignore me when I am driving the GT. Weird.

I wouldn't have thought that they would notice the difference in the cars in the rear view mirror. Perhaps it is the faster acceleration of the GTI that gives them the impression that someone is bearing down on them at great speed.

I usually find that the bigger the car or truck that I'm driving, the quicker they move over....
MKV Golf 2.0 TDI DSG Sportline. Just nice.

Ha ha, that's true! I drove a black Chevy Suburban back in Europe a few times and boy was that fun. It was like I had some device that scared off cars on the front bumper

I cant stand slow drivers in the right lane, the biggest culprits are taxi's.
Going home i have to go past Melbourne airport on the freeway, and the pricks just sit in the right lane doing 80-90 and at the last minute cut accross 2 lanes to get off at the airport exit.

and no, these pricks dont move for my gti, even when im holding down the horn and high beeming lol
